Multiple Videos on a Page
We want to have multiple videos on a sub page on our site. However, we have been unable to figure out how to upload the video on the site requiring a visotr to start the video, rather than it automatically starting. we don't want to have two videos automatically starting at the same time.

What video format are you using? What have you tried doing so far? What page are you working on? It would be helpful for us to see some examples.

Sure. I have only used windows media. I cannot seem to figure out any other format. However, I know have a problem because I do not think the video is visible to those who use firefox... I am currently working on the home page, but I woudl be adding a sub page to our "about us."

If you are using Windows Media try using the advanced properties of the insert / edit embedded media dialogue in the editor. There is an 'Auto Start' property that should control whether the video starts automatically. You can access this dialogue by selecting the video in the content editor, right clicking, and choosing 'edit embedded media'. You will find the 'Auto start' option in the 'Advanced' tab.

This was so helpful thank you! Is there any format that is best for every user? We cannot view windows media from firefox.

Flash Video is very popular these days and probably has the widest reach. However, I'm not an authority on video, so spending some time researching which video format works best for you is probably advisable.
