How do I add a content block in the sidebar?

I can't see the function for adding a new content block in the side bar area.

   Hi,

   I am not sure if you mean creating new content to place in the sidebar or creating a new place to put content.

   To create new content for the content blocks, go to Manage Content > Content Blocks. You can click Create Block there, add the content to it and save it to be used on your pages.

   To create a new content block area, changes need to be made to the templates of you theme. It requires some knowledge of HTML. If that is what you are looking for, let me know and I can direct you to documentation about that or have a developer contact you and about making those changes.
