We have page that the content has been swapped out for a different page. I'm not sure how to describe it, but we had a page with some content and duplicated that page, and the content of the original is now the content of a different page. Let me know if you need more info to help troubleshoot.

Which page has the incorrect content and which page was duplicated? Is the incorrect content an old version of the content from the same page? Or is the content from a different page?

The page with "Road To Healthy Sleep" has the incorrect content. Here the content that should be there...

    http://www.healthysleep.com/road-to-healthy-sleep.php

The duplicate page is "Road to Healthy Sleep C", and the content that is now in the original page (Road to Healthy Sleep) is "Road to Healthy Sleep B". So, somehow the content from page B is now in the original.

I'm not positive this was a result of the duplication process, but I just noticed the pages content was changed without any intervention from us.

Let me know if you hae any questions.

    Thanks,

    BW

I am confused because preview of the "Road to Healthy Sleep" and http://www.healthysleep.com/road-to-healthy-sleep.php look the same to me. Could someone have fixed it already? Or is the difference so subtle that I am not seeing it?

I'm still seeing a different page. The differences are subtle. One has a photo of a guy sleeping with his mouth open and the other one doesn't. Otherwise they are pretty much the same.

    Thanks,

    BW

I show both have the photo. Which one are you seeing that does not? If it is the published page, you may have it cached in your browser. Did it have the photo before you cloned the page? Or is that the content that appeared after you cloned it?

Also, another thing I just noticed is that the page in question doesn't have a way to edit the content area. Any thoughts as to what happened?

    Thanks,

    BW

We've been waiting on a response to the questions Colleen posted. Here they are again for your convenience:

"I show both have the photo. Which one are you seeing that does not? If it is the published page, you may have it cached in your browser. Did it have the photo before you cloned the page? Or is that the content that appeared after you cloned it?"

I responded to her question, but here's a better explanation I hope....

The "original" should look like in Tweak:

    http://www.healthysleep.com/road-to-healthy-sleep.php

As you can see it's actually this page content:

    http://www.healthysleep.com/road-to-healthy-sleep-b.php

Also, you'll notice the content editing capabilities are missing on the original page.

    Thanks,

    BW

    Brett,

We've discovered that the content isn't switched after all. You have GWO (Google Website Optimizer) code installed on those pages which means that the GWO JavaScript is replacing the content for you.

I'm not sure why it's disabling editing capabilities, but we'll look into that. Something with GWO's JS is interfering with our own JS. We'll see if we can find a way to prevent that from happening.

I'm not sure how to tell you to work around the GWO issue where it's changing the content for you even within preview mode. It's doing what it is supposed to do, but it makes it impossible to view the other versions. For now you might have to remove the GWO code while you edit and then put it back in.

We'll see if we can think up any other solutions.
